If you have previously completed the OOSH Registration form and are wanting to RE-ENROL for 2012 please contact Pole Depot (02) 9580 0688 for a RE-ENROLMENT FORM. This has been introduced for 2012 to make enrolling your child easier.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

Pole Depot Community Centre Incorporated is a government subsidised Neighbourhood Centre located at
23 St. Georges Road, Penshurst and offers Before and After School Care for children from Kindergarten to Year 6.

The Centre administers and auspices two Before School Care Centres located at Pole Depot and Narwee Public School and four After School Care services located at Pole Depot, Penshurst West Public School, Mortdale Public School and Narwee Public School.

* Children are transported to and from these schools by Pole Depot bus.

Children's Services employs twelve permanent team members, all of whom are qualified and/or experienced in either child care or teaching.

Pole Depot Children's Services team members wish to make the children's time at the Centre as enjoyable and satisfying as possible by offering a range of play experiences and activities in which they can choose to participate, such as art and craft, cooking, drama, music, and games (indoor, outdoor, active and passive).

This service is not an extension of school, it is play-based.  Therefore, the children are free to choose what they would like to do, as long as they play safely, follow the rules and respect the rights of others - children, parents, and team members at the Centre.

Child Care Benefit (CCB)
Parents wishing to reduce their OOSH fees through Child Care Benefit can contact Centrelink's Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50.

Hours of operation

• Before School Care at Pole Depot: 6.30am to 9.30am
• Before School Care at Narwee: 7.00am to 9.30am
• After School Care: 3.00pm to 6.00pm
• Vacation Care: 7.00am to 6.00pm (Pupil Free Days for Term 2 & 3 are included in Vacation Care)

Fees - 2011 New Fees will apply for 2012 - See OOSH Handbook 2012

• Before School Care: $15.00* per session
• After School Care: $18.00* per session
• Transport fee (bus): $3.00 per trip
• Breakfast: $2.00 per morning
• Vacation Care:  $32.00 per day + excursions; $20 booking fee paid upon registration
• Equipment Levy (includes Injury Insurance) for BSC/ASC/VC:  $50.00 per child, maximum of $100 per family; for VC only $25 per child, maximum $50 (non-refundable).
