Out Of School Hours Care (OOSH) enables parents/guardians to pursue work, study and training or other activities in the knowledge that their children are being well cared for in a safe and happy environment, irrespective of their cultural backgrounds, ability, geographical location, religion or family circumstances.

All now have Ministerial Approved Places, which means Child Care Benefit (CCB) is available for these services.

All Pole Depot Children's Services programs are accredited by the National Childcare Accreditation Council and registered with the Department of Family & Community Services, Community Services.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Pole Depot Community Centre we strive to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment in which school-aged children feel secure, welcomed and supported.

We provide opportunities where children can develop life skills in a healthy and hygienic setting.  We encourage children to participate in stimulating, recreational-based activities where tolerance, independence and self concept are fostered to develop the whole child.

We recognise, respect and value all families' diversity by implementing a program which reflects our community cultures.
