VACATION CARE - SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM

APRIL 2010 VACATION CARE

Commences Tuesday 6 April to Monday 19 April 2010

 Changes:

• From now, there will be a Booking Fee applied to every Vacation Care program booking. 
  On the day you book, a payment of $20.00 per family is required to secure your child/ren’s participation in the program. 
  This payment does not go towards care or excursions, it is a stand alone payment which is to be paid each time you book
  ie. every vacation care program.
• BPAY facilitates will be available for Vacation Care payments.

Forms will be taken from 7.30am on MONDAY, 15 MARCH 2010 at Pole Depot Office.

A $20.00 BOOKING FEE PER FAMILY will apply on above day and to all applications.
Cheques or correct monies for the Booking Fee only should be placed in an envelope, marked with your child/ren’s name/s and
amount enclosed and attached to the front of your form.
-       Forms without the Booking Fee will not be processed. 
-       Booking Fees are non-refundable payments and do not form part of the payment for care/ excursions.

FEES:

• Booking Fee payable on day of submitting booking form $20.00 per family (per family each v/c program)

• Daily Fee (Childcare Benefit Subsidy applies)                    $32.00 per child, exclusive of excursions/workshops

• Registration Fee (non Before and After School Care users only) $25.00 per child (maximum per family $50.00)
  Note:   This fee is paid each year and covers all Vacation Care programs in that year.  Therefore, if you attend one Vacation Care program you need to pay this fee, if you attend four Vacation Care programs you only pay this fee once.

Parents need to confirm their child/ren’s booking after 9am on FRIDAY 19 MARCH 2010. The Centre will not be contacting the parent unless there is a query regarding your form.

Pole Depot's school holiday program is jam-packed with fun and interesting activities and events. Activities include games, cooking, art and craft, drama and music. We also provide excursions to venues such as the movies, swimming, tenpin bowling, animal parks, museums, etc. Special attractions are also programmed to be enjoyed at the Centre, eg African drumming, dancing, science and craft workshops, sumo wrestling, jumping castles and much, much more.

The Child care team are always on the lookout out for new and innovative things to make and do, so that the program offers a variety of excursions/incursions and recreational activities for children.  So busy parents know their children will still be able to participate in many activities that they would otherwise miss out from in the school holiday period, we try to bring as many different aspects of the world to them in our programs.

Up to 75 children per day, from Kindergarten to Year 6, are catered for. However, only children who are currently attending school can enrol, this means, Kindergarten children are not able to attend until the end of their first term at School.

Hours of operation
Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm, excluding public holidays.

Fees

Booking Fee payable on day of submitting booking form - $20.00 per family payable EACH Vacation Care Program

Daily Fee (Childcare Benefit Subsidy applies)   
$32.00 per child per day - care only, plus the cost of excursions/incursions, as nominated by the parent on the Registration Supplement form. Please note that many excursions are optional and/or regulated by size of group, age or ability of child.

Child Care Benefit (CCB)

Have you registered your child for the CHILD CARE BENEFIT
to attend Pole Depot's Vacation Care?

If not, you will be charged the non-CCB day care rate of $32.00 per child per day. To register, contact Centrelink's Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50 and quote Pole Depot's Vacation Care Provider No. 555 010 825H.
