WHAT IS A CARER?

A Carer is a person who provides on-going and unpaid care for a family member with a disability, dementia, mental health issues or problems of frail age.  A Carer could be a partner, parent, sibling, relative or other family member or friend.

Pole Depot Carers Support Team understands the impact of caring and the invaluable contribution, dedication and commitment of Carers.  We aim to acknowledge and support carers in their caring role by providing information, referral, counselling and one-to-one and group support.

OUR MISSION

To support carers by reducing isolation and the stresses that many carers experience.
